Why TDR rates are quoted as a percentage of Ready Reckoner
How to read a TDR rate range and turn it into rupees for your project.
If you have asked for a TDR rate in Pune you were probably told a percentage, not a rupee amount. That is because TDR follows the value of the land where it will be used.
How to read it
Suppose the range for a zone is 90% to 110%. That means the TDR is priced between 90% and 110% of the Ready Reckoner rate of the receiving area.
From percentage to rupees
Take the Ready Reckoner rate per square metre for the area, then apply the percentage. The result is a guide until the quantity and type are confirmed.
What moves the range
- How many projects are waiting to load TDR in that zone
- How much ready DRC is available
- The type of TDR and whether the DRC is issued
- Quantity and timing
See today's live ranges on our rates page and request a firm quote for your quantity.
