Four common kinds of TDR in Pune and how each one is generated.

Road TDR
Generated when land is surrendered for road widening. It is one of the most common kinds in Pune.
Reservation TDR
Generated when land reserved in the Development Plan for a public purpose such as a garden, school or playground is handed over to the authority.
Slum (SRA) TDR
Generated through slum rehabilitation projects. Buyers and sellers should check how it is recorded and where it can be loaded.
Heritage TDR
Granted as compensation when development on a heritage structure or precinct is restricted.
